Charge of an electron Empty Charge of an electron

Was looking through the packs and didn't really see anything about how to find Q. I know the equation is on the formula sheet but is there any wordy stuff we need to know for the exam on the significance of charge?

Not sure which topic you are meaning. In turning points the charge of the electron was measured by Millikan with oil drop experiment. You need to know this and the significane of his findings - that is that charge was always multiples of 1.6x10-19 C and so charge was quantised and this was the smallest 'packet'

Ah okay it was at the end of the first chapter of the turning points pack where it just mentioned charge and I thought there was more to follow on, but if it's just that then it's fine
